JHAMeducation is founded by Jo Hammer, an educator and leader with over 20 years' teaching experience.
Jo's educational leadership spans all areas of secondary schools, from wellbeing to curriculum, professional learning and school operations. Prior to teaching, Jo worked in the food and events industry for national food service and events providers.
Along with an Applied Science (Consumer Science) degree from RMIT, Jo also holds a Grad.Dip.Ed. from the Australian Catholic University, and from the University of Melbourne, a Master's in Education Management and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Research.
Jo is a sessional assessor for the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), and Tertiary Supervisor at Australian Catholic University. She is an accredited HALT assessor for the Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools (MACS) and in 2023 became an Insights Discovery Licenced Practitioner.
