In 2022/2023 I was part of the International Coalition of Girls' Schools Global Action Research Collaborative (GARC C'23 fellow).
This project was the culmination of several years of working with Fleming's VARK tool and helping students to gain confidence and develop academic resilience by identifying their communication modality preferences and practicing a range of learning tools and techniques that support this preference. By giving students practical learning tools they are empowered to make choices about the way/s they take in and share information, which provides them with increased belief in their capacity and competency.
